Early Spring at ColorScapes

If you walked into ColorScapes right now you would say, “What is going on?”  It basically looks like a tornado just went through the place!  We are remodeling, as we seem to do each March.  We are creating a new area in the store called “Garden Inspiration Area”.  This will be an area to come and have your landscape redesigned right in front of your eyes on our computer screen.  Very cool!

Water Feature at 2009 Toledo Home and Garden Show

This Saturday we are headed to the Toledo Home and Garden Show (March 12, 13, 14).  Click the link in this blog for details.  There is also a $1.00 off admission coupon!  It is a nice little show.  Hope to see you there!

Coming up Saturday, March 20th is the Defiance County Educational Workshop “Forget Winter, Think Spring!”, which is sure to be fun and informative!  The deadline for registration is this Friday (3/12/2010).  ColorScapes will have a booth there, so be sure to see us, so we can talk  SPRING.

Be sure not to miss the Putnam County Master Gardeners “Spring into Gardening Fair” with 12 different classes, a garden market, garden cafe and raffle.  I will be speaking on 50 High Impact, Low Maintenance Plants.  I hope I have time to fit 50 plants into my talk!  Hope to see you Saturday,  April 10, 2010 in Miller City.

Lots going on this Spring!  How fun!  ColorScapes is not officially open until April 15th, but if you see us there working away stop in and say hi!  It looks like a crazy mess as the Ayersville Sewer project is in full swing, but make your way around the excavators and dump trucks to catch a glimpse of our new look!
